Water Quality Monitoring
Melbourne Water WaterWatch - Monthly
Regularly monitoring water quality over time enables early detection of changes in water quality and the natural environment, making early intervention possible.
Melbourne Water maintains a database of water monitoring results through its WaterWatch program, and provides testing kits and support to the Citizen Science team.

Notla Drain
Jawbone Wetlands
Cherry Lake
The following tasks are undertaken at each site:
Habitat assessment and photographic records
Macro-invertebrate count
Collection of water samples, and testing for
Air Temperature
